Finlay seen it last week, I enjoyed it. I did see hydraulic lifting arms throwing the petrol tanker into the bridge pylon. I recon for an Aussie film they did a great job.

apologies for thread digging, but I FINALLY got around to watching this.
As a few have picked up, I was a tad confused by the diesel clatter from a V8 county
Overall it was well done, a few things were a tad different than I imagined, particularly chris, and the way they went all gung ho at the end.
But a good watch
Never heard of Red Dawn or Tomorrow when the War Began.

Ron,
You should make the effort to see Tomorrow when the war began. It is a great film.. starring a very nice County

Brutus: 1969 109 ExMil 2a FFT (loved and lost)
Ron they are doing a remake of Red dawn but without Patrick swayze
Red Dawn (2012) - IMDb
and for those that are interested the screenplay for red dawn was written way before tomorrow when the war beganso no the yanks didnt copy it may have been the other way round

"Red Dawn" was made way back in the 80's, I think. It's been on TV several times!!In fact just checked, it was made in 1984!!!
