In the movie "Three kings" with Marky Mark and George Cloony the Iraqis drove 101's.

A fairly recent movie "Transit" features a D1 that can outrun a 60's muscle car - though not for long lol.

Just been to see Safe House and plenty of Land Rovers in the film

The 90 takes out a Toyota Troopie and then is driven around by Ryan Reynolds

I got told I am a sad git by my wife as when they were on the train and Maytor said that is was a engine with Lucas wiring and wentworth bolts. And I said it was Sir Axle rod as that's a Rangie engine.

Holmes and Watson driving a green Puma Defender 110 around Dartmoor looking for the Hound of the Baskervilles, plus loads of military Defenders in the Army base.

The "River Cottage" series on the BBC has a lot of Land Rover shots in it. It's a doco about a guy who leaves London to become a smallholder in Dorset.

Ah you talk of one my heroes..ol Hugh...moreso because of his programs and living off the land. Soft top 90's seem to be a fave of his,
