I went with the good wife to see that movie about 1 year ago I think, I went to keep her company, I did enjoy it although I didn't tell her too much as she would have me going to see many others LOL, but yes a good laugh, cheers Dennis
Or significant other as they say in these parts.
In fact I am referring to the film:-
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
Having wandered about in the Middle East and the Sub Continent and my missus having done the same working for TWA before I knew her; we both sat down and watched this and had a good laugh.
See what you think, well recommended.

With a cast including Maggie Smith, Dame Judy Dench and Bill Nighy, it would have to be a winner, and it was.
My wife and I both loved it.
1973 Series III LWB 1983 - 2006
1998 300 Tdi Defender Trayback 2006 - often fitted with a Trayon slide-on camper.
Saw it earlier this year. Funny thing is we went to see it at Circular Quay Dendy early one morning thinking we just stroll in and get to work late. Well, we didn't know it was the seniors movie week and the que was long and we, at the young age of 40, were feeling like kids
Good flick. Lots of laughs.
Good one!!!
Yes we liked it. No foul language, no porn, no blasphemy, no violence.
Excellent.
i really wanted to see this one, mainly because maggie smith is in it
Glad you blokes are of the like mind!
What cracks me up is the "sky blue" comment:-
"Everything will be alright in the end"
AND
"If it isn't alright------ its not the end"!
Reminds me of my dear old late Mum (ex wartime RAF 1936 to 1946) Warrant Officer!
She used to say something like it all the time!
Enjoy your weekend

When my wife and I went to watch it, the theatre was full of old age pensioners, and they really got the humour in it and were cackling like mad throughout the screening.
Oh, we liked it, too.
