Thread: Argo watch the movie

I liked it. A true story built around the Iran hostage crisis during Jimmy Carters presidency. Plenty of suspence with a touch of comedy from Alan Arkin and John Goodman. A bit of a walk down memory lane as well for anyone old enough....rotary dial telephones, tv's with no remotes (I remember I was my father's remote control ) and smoking on aeroplanes.

I havent seen it but a work colleague and i were just talking about it, my auntie and cousin were living in Tehran during the uprising and fled just before the **** hit the fan to Germany - they had to be smuggled out.
