I guess that explains why bond and moneypenny never make good on their many innuendos.
    "what's that scar?"
    "the time you shot me....."
    "oh....yeah...."

Made our annual visit to Gold Class today for this film.

Thought it was great entertainment, no Bond film is an artistic masterpiece and they are not meant to be taken that seriously.
Could have done without the DB5 having 'extras'.

DC is my No2 Bond, SC is The Bond.

    Certainly one of the best,,
I like how all the action bits are "real" not CG.

I'm fairly certain in the next one he'll be full of beans again,, we cant have JB continually showing his age!
Cant believe they killed off M

Bond was no spring chicken in the books....
And technically, they just killed that particular M

Saw Skyfall last break for my birthday in the Gold Lounge. Only way to watch a good movie. The movie itself was good, though I think they are trying too hard to make a background story line rather than the action Bond is known for.
Did not like them killing off M and not very impressed with the new Q.

Great now I sound like a land rover driving Anorak.

I just love all the gurkha/commando traps. Someone has finally read a handbook, only took 70 years.

    Saw today.

Like the way they are filling in the background now they don't have any original stories left. Someone mentioned they didn't like Quantum, you really have to watch Casino & Quantum back to back as the storyline of Quantum take up immediately after Casino. And the background detail like the Stag at the gates at Skyfall in relation to the original Crest seen only once (maybe twice) with the motto as well tied into another previous movie. Things went a bit astray in the first couple of post book movies but went back on track from Casino.

Saw it yesterday. Thought the first half of it was great but ultimately left a bit disappointed. Too many B grade moments that I thought detracted from it unnecessarily...and just a bit too predictably unbelievable. Casino is probably my fav Bond film.

Saw it tonight. Must say, I would never have picked a car chase scene using a Defender (beyond in something like "The Gods Must Be Crazy" of course) would be so good. Like someone else said, I loved the realistic "chirp" of All Terrain tyres in the scene. But with the Landy featuring and then the trail-bike chase all in the first few minutes, I was loving it ... then I fell asleep and the wife prodded me to wake me up. (I apologise to anyone in the theatre that my snoring might have disturbed). I stayed awake after that little lull and enjoyed the rest of the film. "Worth seeing" is my take on it.
