Rocky horror picture show! :p :D
You want to talk Henry Mancini? Yes. Another great movie soundtrack composer.
I loved the movie "Hatari".

Got that one on vinyl too.
That's the one! I could have just Googled it, but I knew someone would know exactly what it was called, and who wrote it.
Looking back at my posts, it seems all my choices are 20+ years old. Does that mean no good movies soundtracks have been released in the last 2 decades.
Nah. I've watched a few films that have been MA15+ in violent/offensive content on Qantas flights. Understandably, they don't play anything with huge amounts of nudity or sex, but a bit of blood and guts is fair play.
Try flying Air China for an interesting movie collection.;)
Dead Man, with Neil Young playing guitar:)
I thought Richard Gibbs music was used to great effect in David Eick's and Ronald D Moore's version of the TV series "Battlestar Galactica".
Loved the TV series.
What about Mike Post and the theme for Magnum PI  :D
Mike Post was rather prolific when it comes to TV themes. I remember the "Hill Street Blues" theme. Other notable themes he composed were "The Rockford Files", "Murder One" (with Aussie actor Anthony LaPaglia), "NYPD Blue", "The Greatest American Hero", "Quantum Leap" and "Law & Order".
All TV shows I watched and enjoyed.
