The themes from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" series of films by Ennio Morricone always stick in my mind. Instantly recognisable. Also the music in Blade Runner by Vangelis. Added a huge amount of atmosphere to the film.
However, the soundtrack from The Blues Brothers is a good call, Muppet. :D

Agree. Both instantly recognisable. For "Mission Impossible", you could play that bit of music and probably 90% of the population would recognise it and be able to name it.Quote:

First time I watched that film was on a Qantas flight to Hong Kong. Probably didn't get to experience the full effect of the soundtrack due to the constant interruptions over the tannoy. :pQuote:
