    GRAVITY

Just watched the DVD "Gravity" starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, on my home system. Great special effects and sound and I would give the movie 9 out of 10 for that. Plot is a bit weak, would give it 6 out of 10.

Reading in the paper, it has ten nominations in various categories for Oscar Awards along with the movie "American Hustle".

    Did I enjoy the movie?....yes!!
    Would I watch it again?..yes!!

What did any body else think of the movie?

I was going to see it at Imax.
    I'm kicking myself I didn't. Perhaps I should get a 3D tv.

    Get a 3D TV Jim.
I'll drop in with a 3D Bluray copy of the flick and some popcorn.

Saw it in 3D at the pictures.... It was really excellent.

Plot was about as complex as it could have been given the premise.

Boffins will poo-poo some of the scientific accuracy. Technical accuracy is always the first casualty in movies ( I don't know a movie that doesn't ...except maybe "The Odd Angry Shot" )

Saw it on a tiny screen on a 767 on my way to Perth. Thought it was great. Can't wait to watch it on the home cinema.

What an amazing movie, and only two actors plus the voices of about five others for the entire movie.

I watched it last night and would give it a 4/10.

Without being too much of a plot spoiler, the "cliff hanger" scene completely ruined it for me. The whole movie hung on that and it simply doesn't work like that in zero-gravity.

I agree Dougal, just not enough throughout the movie to keep the suspense up - i'd give it a 7 though just coz i like all things space and sci-fi.
