    STAR TREK

    Just looking at some of the stranger guest stars and cameos. For me the stand out was the King of Jordan (when he was just the crown prince). Other notables: Mick Fleetwood, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Seth (Family Guy) Macfarlane and Iggy Pop.

    Stephen Hawking wanted to see his favorite set, engineering with the warp core.
    In front of the warp core, he paused and said, "I'm working on that."
    Yep, there are lots of famous people who a closet Trekkies, and when offered a chance to take part, jumped at it. Whoopie Goldberg hassled them until they created a role for her.

    Yep. That was where my little anecdote came from. In the TV show he was playing poker with Data, Newton and Einstein.
    According to my Star Trek Encyclopedia (A Reference Guide to the Future), it was in the episode of TNG "Descent Pt.1".
