Thread: INDPENDENCE DAY: Resurgence

Being a keen sci-fi fan I was eager to view this movie and today, Mrs Aus and I did just that. I must admit all the special effects are there and we did enjoy the movie but on comparing it to the original movie we were slightly disappointed.......perhaps we expected too much.

Anybody else see this movie yet????? We eagerly await the new Startreck movie coming out at the end of this month.

As far as Indepence Day is concerned, I would give it an 8 out of 10 mainly for entertainment value, after all you go to the movies for a couple of hours escapism.

Totally agree. If I'd have written this it would have been word for word, including Star Trek!
