Was watching a show on NITV today called Contact. Lots of S1 land rovers, I think involved with Woomera rocket projects. Trying to round up our True Australians to get them out of the target areas to stop them getting hurt mostly. Very enlightening program. Oh there were some old inters as well. Very interesting program.
Cheers Rod

While watching the horse racing from Ascot, it looks like ITV has updated their camera car from a D4 to a D5.

I see on Ch 7 that the Royal Randwick Racecourse is using a grey D4 as the camera car.

He discovers that the factory here, now owned by Indian Tata Motors, produced the first model in the 1940's. My memories of Solihull are a sheep dog on the roof of the pub, and an albino wallaby at the nature park. As I was recognised as an Aussie I had to visit the nature park to look at the wallaby (because I'd clearly never seen one before!). Having said that I'd genuinely never seen an albino wallaby.
Plus the pub put on a pretty good roast for lunch.
