So what are your favourite shows?

I like pommie crime shows & comedy, though there doesn't seem to to much around at the moment.

The only TV I watch regularly apart from the news (Prime and ABC) is "Collectors" and "The Einstein Factor". I fairly often watch "Time Team" and current affairs programs such as "Stateline" and "7.30 Report".

Yea, House is good. Saw some hysterical old clips from "Laurey & Fry" or "Fry & Laurey" or whatever, an old Pommy comedy show way back in the 80's I think. Found it on a site called "TV Links", but don't know if it's still around. It was a classic. Top Gear is good value you too, but what is "Chuck", never heard of that one.

Just finished a very (& I mean VERY) disturbing book called "An Evil Love" about Fred & Rosemary West, the UK serial kickers. After Fred West was finally arrested, they used a "Profiler", who was used for to advise on the show "Cracker". Didn't realise they went to so much trouble making the Pommie crime shows, they obviously do a lot of research. Leaves the Aussie & most especially American crime shows for dead (excuse the pun).

I could take or leave Dr Who (Tony is an avid sci fan, which drives me nuts!) However, the newer series surprised me, gone along way from the low budget stuff they used to put on.
