I must admit that Steve Pizzaface has a few "isms" that really grate against my brain...
"Neesahn" (Nissan)
"Mooshylargo" (Murcielago)
There are more but my therapist helped me block them out. :p

I thought it was much better, I even laughed this time!! Especially with those 2 on the jet ski!! Oh, and I can't think of a better end to the "what were they thinking" wall.
Hopefully once they get to know each other better their dialouge will flow a bit better. TGUK in the beginning was a bit stilted, so there is hope!

i liked it, improved on last year and the revised presenter line-up works well.
now was it just co-incidence that stig appeared in the studio for the first time on the very day skafie was in attendance...... more fuel for the rumours:wasntme:
cheers

A massive improvement on the first season, thank god they listened to everyone and got rid of Charlie and the "what were they thinking?" wall ..both made me chringe.
I think they are starting to make their own show now, in the first season they coppied nearly everysingle aspect of the Top Gear, but now they seem to be more comfortable with what they are doing, by season 3 i think they could have a really good show.
But Top Gear UK will always be better, you just can't replace Jeremy, Hammond and May.
New season out in June i think.. or is it July?
It just ain't right. There is, and always will be, only one Top Gear. ;):D

Which one would that be? The UK version that ran from 1977 till 2001 and has been thru a range of changes over the time, or the UK version that started in 2002 and has been thru a range of changes over the time?
Point being even the "original" clarkson version has been adapted and changed to improve it over the time. In 2002 it kind of sucked really, the next couple of series wasn't much better.
The highly polished version they are bringing out nowadays is the result of 12 series' worth of improvements, and to compare the aussie version to it really isn't that fair.
Just take it in its own right, an aussie tv show that's entertaining and a little informative. Or hate it if you like, I don't care, I'll keep watching.;)
A few weeks back, I took my eldest to the filming of EP3 of this season.
In the off camera banter between the boys, it seems that Steve, Warren and James seem to have quite a bit of genuine aussie mate style sledging going on.
A good omen for the future I think.
