James is the best thing they could have done....

The Evo v BMW was entertaining, but not a real test.... the Poms do a better job at testing.

I liked it, but it is still a copy of the UK version.. make it unique and make it totally aussie.

Stig..... i think i know who it is..... watch him next time on the supercheap advert and the folding arms has a special way that not many do....

    Agree.

I thought it was no better than the first season and turned off after 10 minutes of cringe.

James Morrison in a full-body wetsuit on a Waverider - grinning and laughing like a demented maniac... gold!

The rest was OK - still haven't quite got their timing right and too many obvious jokes that fall flat (eg. when you get two grown men on a jetski, the bum-jump jokes are a waste of air time). It just needs a bit more tightening up and the injection of some real wit and they would deserve another series.

I enjoyed seeing the chook (almost) bounce into the back of the hatch.

    Big improvement

They will get their **** together no doubt.
I like to see the first pommy shows and compare.
The U.K version I am sure has a huge team doing all the lines and showman ship.

Good on the guys for perhaps listening to consumer/audience response.

Top marks for top gear. As for the STIG im thinking it could be IAN OR WARREN LUFF as they live not far from the track at camden airport.

yup, what I saw (only caught the second half) was a huge improvement. If it keeps inproving at that rate it will be top notch by next season (if there is one)
