That pic is one of the reasons I don't like cars running vegie oil. THe plumbing looks like a nightmare. I have seen under the bonnet of a Jackaroo running vegie oil and it was even worse than that!

Caught up with a guy last weekend who is running his 300tdi on waste vegetable oil.
Waste vegetable oil is settled and filtered before being place in a tank in the boot. Once warmed the oil is filtered via a Agglomerating Fuel Processor (top left of pic) then heated to between 75-90C (bottom left of pic) prior to the injector pump. He is also using injector line heaters (top right of pic) to ensure the oil is at optimum temperature before injection. This is a two tank system so the engine starts on and finishes its journey on diesel. After three months it is running great and fuel is costing about five cents per liter.

At 150c/l cheaper fuel.... who cares what the plumbing hidden under the bonnet looks like.
Cheers
