Thread: Close up work[macro]

To the most learned ones,
Does anybody know much about these "close up lens" kits that screw on to the front of lenses? It is basically for my 28-200mm zoom. Cannot rock the boat with another lens. The Dept of finance and all things argumentive would go bezerk

Hello Tony.

I am using a close up lens, the Nikon 6T with my Nikon 70-300VR and it is very good but never on the class of a proper macro.
The Nikon lens it is very hard to get, try the Canon 500D close up lens which also will work with any lens (over 100mm it is recommended)

Do not get any other cheap glass they have to be made with 2 lens to be good.
Here is one shot taken yesterday of a detail of a grevillea flower.




also the images in THIS thread are teken with the Nikon D300s, Nikon 70-300VR and the Nikon 6T close up lens.
