    Crappy Week

So I had a crap week last week.

I took this photo at Australia Zoo on Saturday 15/05/2010. It pretty well sums my attitude/mood over the last week.

    Nice pose.

Was it taken through glass? It looks a little soft focus.

Yes it was shot through glass.

There is also some post processing to try and sharpen the image a bit more. It didn't help that the glass was a bit dirty.

Ok a bit more light on the face less on the back ground. There is more fiddling needed. I would love to get behind the glass.

    Spell the caption correctly, too.

Thought as much. Soft focus is not really correct I suppose, it is more of a flattening of the image - if that makes sense. I have some great shots of the tiger at Taronga last July and the same problem (2009 Taronga Zoo - a set on Flickr).

    Like I said: Nice Pose.

It's so good when they are actually up and about and not lying in the back of their den.
