Went to play around again with my zoom lens, and yep cannot caprture moving objects without it appearing soft.

Right, had another crack at the zoom lens today and I think im starting to get it! So cloudy-ish day, cranked the ISO to Auto from 100-1600, set Manual mode so that its fixed at about 500ss and f7... therefore ISO fluctuates depending on light conditions.
I prefer this set up as I know both SS and Fstop wont change so I have full control.
Here are 3 shots, never mind the subject (boring), but more on capturing the moment which is what im after. Two are panning shots (getting used to these) and one stationary.
Lens, being what it is, gives a grainy look at full ISO1600, but better zoom lens in future will help the situation (now to find more funds :angel:)
