King Parrot in a tree near my back verandah. Not overly happy with the sharpness but it was a 35mm prime and a fair bit of cropping. D7100. Nikkor 35mm 1.8 prime.

Trying out my new 1.4 extender.:) on the inherited 400mm.
Quality seems pretty good,a slight bit has been lost getting onto this site.
This Magpie goose was at the local lagoon, haven't seen one there before, they are generally found north of here.
Needs a bit of a PP,beak could have a bit more colour, and shadow at top of one leg removed.
Just gotta learn how to do it;):D

Here's one from Bribie this morning. I'm really hopeless with my D7100. But sometimes in spite of myself it pops out a good image.

another variety in the yard
I have been tying to get a descent pic of the little balls of fluff that follow the adults around, but I need a bodyguard:D
Not my favourite bird,as they are very aggressive to other birds even when not breeding. These have been breeding in our front yard, the young are fed by numerous adults, not just the parents

another out the back feeding
I like this little bloke - he uses the yellow petal to attract a Mrs. Didn't work out for him this time though. Going down the pub in a minute and I've put my yellow t-shirt on and I'm hoping for a bit more luck.
cheers,
