Very good exposure control on the shot of a The Australian Magpie Cracticus tibicen
The details on the blacks are very good without over exposure on the whites.
Nice and sharp head with good pose.

I can't identify this one, may be a juvenile. Taken at Upper Carawine Gorge, WA. It's about as big as a Willy Wagtail. Any suggestions?

This was one happy little Cormorant.

(D300, 80~400VR @330mm, 1/500, f11)
until he got mugged by a young Nankeen Night Heron.
