That makes you the one at the front... with the Nikon
Yes, having a Canon would make any one look like a thug
Pictures bring back memories of when we lived in Tassie. Loved Mt Wellington with the snow on a clear day.
Tim and I decided to head up the mountain for a bit of snow shooting and just generally to get out! Heres a first pic, Tim nd I up on the back of mountain rarely visited by people so had nice smooth untouched snow to snap on. More pics to come
PS: Yes Tim looks like a thug, and also, please forgive him as he has a Canon on him :P

I just wanted to say I am a Thug with or without Canon or Nikon.
PS I was using the Nikon D60 as well as The canon 30D.
Now if Carlos had his 300sI would have had my new D80??
But someone had to allow Carlos his Nikon fetish
so I relented and loaned him his old D80
To cut a long story short Great Day out with Great Mate Cheers Carlos and I will add I miss Arther on our photo shoots so visit soon Chucaro and Rosa. Two 300s Nikons and two good blockes to shoot with woooooo hooooo.
Whilst on the topic, can anyone suggest a way to remove a flare from a photo? See below, flare on rock and Capure NX2 can only do so much before its ruined
Image is HDR, which only amplified the flare. I will try removing flare from affected photos first and then HDR...
Any suggestions welcomed.

On the original @ 250% magnification will be easy but it will take time.
It can be done one pixel at the time if you whish to do it so.
Looks nice and warm thanks for the pics..
I'm still learning but this took me less than 10 seconds. That is once I had Photoshop cs5 open with this image up. I'm not sure what the pro's think of it but I love it for removing my mistakes.
Thanks Locorr - unfortunately I dont have photochop installed, so will try with other tools I have. The other thing too, for me anyway, I dont like fixing serious mistakes from my photos - dont mind the usual PP stuff, but not to this degree. I was wondering more from a skills/software point of view.
But great job on the fix anyway
