    I was following the fly as it flitted from leaf to leaf, finally catching up when it landed on a half-rolled up leaf. Snapped a few quick ones, then off to the computer to see if they were any good ... and discovered half its head being devoured by the sneaky mantis!



    I went back to get this shot from a different angle ...

    Oh, just re-read the rule about dead insects not allowed so I guess my earlier entry is for the mantis even if focus was on the fly
