    other people's photo websites

Bloke on my hunting forum posted this.
There are some interesting shots on there. I have no idea whether they are really good "technically" or not but the subject matter etc in some is great and a little bit "out of the box".

    Howdy,

My Dad is an exceptional photographer and I thought I might post his website here for the people who are interested in photography to hanve a gander.

    www.wowfactorpix.com

You can have a look around the homepage and look at the sample image galleries where he has a few photos you can check out all in different categories.

I HIGHLY recommend signing up to what he calls the 'picture postcard'. It is an entirely free service and it's basically something Dad created for himself to further motivate him to become a better photographer. You can read about it on the website but basically all you do is enter your e-mail and then every week Dad will send you a .pdf file of about 5 photos he took (whether they be recent or ones he dug up out of his archive) with a brief story about the photo and technical aspects as to how he captured/created it.

There are no viruses or anything associated with this and as Dad says on the website, it really is a free lunch.

Anyway, I just thought I'd give it a bit of a plug. He used to be a great fox shooter a long time ago but has since given up the rifle for the camera. I hope you enjoy having a look at his stuff and again, I strongly encourage you to sign up for the picture postcard.

    Cheers.
I can't vouch forwhat the fella says re viruses or whatever but have no reason to doubt him.
I though someone may be interested.

No offence to the website owner BUT! When someone goes out of their way to suggest they are virus free - that's the first thing I'd suspect.

I'd always want to have a high quality anti-virus and anti physhing software installed and up-to-date.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

He seems interested in dead animals...

Its sad that we have to worry about viruses etc, but thats the reality nowdays! Also, seems like a lot of work for the individual for no financial gain which is in itself suspicious.

Best of luck to him tho.

Thank you Vlad for the link.
He have some nice images there, it is a shame that they are small to appreciate them better.
I think that the shots with dead wildlife have a place if they are used in articles concerned with the environment and road kill issues.
Many photographers have these type of images in their portfolio and some regarding deforestation because they are in demand for political articles.

Regarding the virus I am not worried about it, I think that my PC is well protected.
