Good for you. I am so happy with my newly aquired Nikon D300s. After all the years of going without while rasing kids, houses, divorces etc it's nice to be able to afford a toy occasionally - no more toys for me again as we are trying to buy a property that is to good to refuse

Looks like that in your place Santa come early enjoy the toy!

Excellent.

I'd love to try a few shots with my lenses on a new body, e.g., K5, and then the same shots on my *istD to see how much improved the new bodies are.

Couple of quick pics, reduced to 1000 across long side with a max file size of 200K, hopefully they still look OK

Heaps to still learn with this camera, and stuck at home all this week .

Edit: looks like I've discarded the Exif data - will redo and post back again later

Was thinking that was a really nice photo..I always find most photo's of rainbows are either upside down or they have that ugly tongue hanging out
