    Sony NEX 5

    Hi All

    Is anyone out there using a Sony Nex 5?

    I am looking for a smaller camera as companion for my Canon DSLR. I am also looking for that same camera to do HD Video.

    I another feature of interest is the Panorama Mode.

    Any feedback would be welcome.

    Two of my brother's in law have them and they are extremely happy with them. I don't know if they use the sweep panorama much, but it works quite well on my Son's P&S.

    The low light capability of them is a long way ahead of my Sony A100.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I went and had a good look at one in Sony Central. They look like a good thing. The panorama mode is a bit of a disappointment. When you use multiple images and stitch pano's in tools like photo shop you get an extended mega pixel image. With the Sony NEX it process and compresses the pano in the camera leaving you with a fairly small pano that would have limited print size.
