    I have in my D300s a 8 Gb Sandisk Extreme III which hold 298 images in Nef format standard.
    Using Sandisk cards in my D200 and D300s I have never lost data when changing cards.

    I don't mean losing data. I mean missing shots because the camera says "card full".

    i'll also add that if you go sandisk... watch where you buy it from.. there are so many fake ones on ebay etc.. its quite unreal!

    Guy i work with bought 2 x 4gb.. look legit packaged legit... but failed very quickly and when you look closely.. they arent sandisk... there are even people that are faking card size...

    I guess what i'm saying is buy from someone reputable...

    one of the things I like about the CF over the SD is that being physically larger it isnt as easy to lose
