I love the look of it, Derek. I thought it was an old film camera when I saw the first pic and before I read the text.
Last Thursday I got my new camera, a Fujifilm X100. I bought this to complement the D3s. The camera is a real joy to use and whilst not, strictly speaking, a rangefinder, it retains a lot of that style of camera. Most of the reviews bag the operation, but I really can't understand why. It is way better than any P&S camera I've used. The build and the feel is solid, the picture quality is excellent and the retro style doesn't scream "Digital Camera".

Very nice.....
Love the retro look.
Glad you like it - I've had one for about 6 weeks now & love it, the quality of the images it takes is excellent & is far better than my E620 Olympus with standard zoom lens. The viewfinder makes it great to use too.
I can't say it is better than my D3s but it is an excellent little camera and that view finder really is great.
Have you upgraded yours to the new firmware? I did this before I started using the camera.
