    I'm back to the camera forum

    I wasn't really gone but without a camera, participation is a bit limited. Replacements for the 500D et al arrived today

    Now a proud owner of a Canon 7D, Canon 24-105mm f4 L IS USM, Canon 50mm f1.4 and some basic filters. I decided to hold off replacing the Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 until I get used to the 7D. The Canon 10-22 is attractive (but $300 more) as it's the same diameter as the 24-105 meaning I can swap filters, etc.

    Just waiting for a battery to charge up and then the laborious task of learning the new beast begins
