Thread: Adobe releases Photoshop CS6 Public Beta

So with the beta version is it just like a trial in the sense that you get a taste of the full package but when they release it they expect you to buy..??? i.e the software you install expires without serial?

For what I have read CS5 with One and Nik plug ins is as good or better than CS6 without the plug ins.
I think that I will wait a bit longer to see what happens in the future.

Maybe my uni student daughter would like a copy.....

I noticed that it won't display Pentax RAW (PEF) images as thumbnails when one does a File -> Open. One needs to use the Bridge.

The other software package, Phase One 6, I mentioned elsewhere, does display the files as images thumbnails.

Not sure, Lou. The trial period for CS6 Beta is 60 days.
