I'm been on a similar one in Alaska. We didn't go over the worst bridges - when they revised the track and made a new bridge they sometimes left the rickety one in place. It was a little disconcerting to approach something which would clearly not support a laden swallow, only to keep going along the valley wall a bit further and cross on a newer bridge.
