Awesome shots, thanks for showing us.

Whilst over Tassie a couple of years ago, we called into a Tassie Tiger zoo thingy, sorry, can't remember the name of it. But they had all sorts of wildlife there, and one thing they had was a collection of various birds, some of which performed sort of. One was a type of Kite, and the guide got about 10 kids to stand in a line with their legs apart, and the Kite would come down from the roof and fly through their legs,, so cool.
But my problem is, all the photos I took, I couldn't get any as good as yours. You've done well.

Kind of, it was picking up the left overs of the bacon & eggs its mate had stolen from the plate on the table when our backs were turned.

There were 3 of them in the area. Though they are pretty common up this way, they tend not to hang around too long. These guys were very obliging.

    Very nice BIF shots!
Did you have your camera in SS priority or manual mode?
That lens is awesome and works veri well with the new Nikon * 2 teleconverter.

Handheld, Manual, 1/4000, f/8, Auto ISO, 3D focus tracking with short lock, Continuous High frame rate. I'd had to take the 2xTC off as everything was too close (about 5-10m).

I tend to use Manual + Auto ISO over Shutter Priority as anything up to ISO10000 is very useable with the D3s.

The TC2.0-EIII is very good and gives a sharper image than the TC1.7-ECII that I also have.
