Lightroom these days. It has a good balance of developing and cateloging that works for me. Just upgraded to V6, but after trying the new features I was a bit underwhelmed.

Elements for me . Does all I need Or have time for.
Aperture for importing RAW and all storage. Will only move to Lightroom when I really have to.
Now Aperture is no more I've moved to Capture One as I found I can't get my head around Lightroom as my DRM. Capture One is well supported and very Aperture like. That said, I use Lightroom CC and Lightroom Mobile on the iPad Pro.
Photoshop CC, Nix, On1 also come in handy.
I run photoshop and adobe bridge for the majority of the raw work. Just couldnt get used to the workflows of lightroom, i have tried several times, Lightroom also struggled handling my large image collections.
