    Software

    What software do you use?

i do all my camera transfers etc using ViewNX2 as i like the way it manages my collection

I have DxO Optics Pro Elite
    Lightroom CC
    Photoshop CC
a few topaz filters and the nix collection plug ins for LR and PS

i find that Dxo Optics Pro Elite does 75% of what i need straight out of the box and is my goto software of choice these days

i use lightroom and / or Photoshop to do things that need editing in some way or another

    what do you use?

I'd do 75% of what I need in ACR and the finishing touches in CC.

Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC on rare occasions.

I like Lightroom's cataloguing and the ability to mess around with Lightroom mobile when I'm away from my main system.

I always planned to explore NX2 but never seem to get around to it.

I use Lightroom 5 for "developing" my RAW's and managing my "nice" photos.

I use Elements 12 for any editing (stitching, layered work - all very basic things though).

The two programs compliment each other nicely and work together well too.
