I guess I do import into LR , just don't consider it that way. Capture1 is my mainstay now days as its much more like aperture but keeps everything in a nice folder - referenced - structure.

LRCC isn't that different to LR6 but there are changes from LR5. I just find LR difficult on PC or Mac, yet on iOS it's great (be even better if it did RAW without using CC).

For reorganizing images and folders there's a fantastic Mac OS X app, Silent Shifter by Vector15. Unfortunately I've never seen anything equivalent for Windows. It would be worth checking it out what it can do and see if you get something as good for a PC.
