Sounds like you love your cameras as much as you love landys.
Hmmm.... What a good combination - pictures of Landys
I've got a Sony V1, not sure I'd recommend it to anyone. Does the job.
What drives me mad about digital cameras is the pure crapness across the board.
People make and sell digital cameras that have faults in them that would have stopped a 35mm camera from ever having been produced.
Distortion, slowness, noise, batteries, memory card.
Argh.
Great for snaps and ebay.
If I really want to take a picture I get out the nikon or the pentax or the medium format bronica. The pictures may not come out any good, but at least I know it's my fault not design faults in the camera.

Sometimes you are better off doing landscapes with a long lens and some well placed cropping rather that than a wide angle lens, that way you don't lose detail.
This is what I mean
Wide Angle (12mm Nikon D100)
Or Zoom with Cropping (200mm Same Camera)
How ever there are times when wide angles are good. (22mm Same Camera)

Very nice Maggot! Surely you have some pics of the landy on the beach on Fraiser Is!!!
