    Good find.......

I helped organize a photography weekend on another forum.....a share your knowledge type weekend. Two of the guys were brilliant.....the only issue was they had cannons and took them awhile to work out Nikon but to their credit they mostly sorted it for us no others.

Nothing wrong with that either. These new bodies have menus that are so damn complicated you can get lost just navigating through them.

    They all need Siri.

I'm so far behind, I'd be embarrassed to turn up. I haven't moved on from my FE2, but I am spending a lot of time investigating the DF....and saving.

I bought a Nikon D320 specifically to take images of coins and after 2-3 years I have gotten pretty good at that.
I bought the camera second hand and it came with a couple of lenses, The standard issue one (I think) and a big long bugger as well.
I bought a Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Macro 1.1 lens to match up with the body and it takes great close up images.

I have not used either of the other two lenses yet so I may have a bit of a play next time I head out bush just to see if what I have learnt imaging coins can be used on landscapes and action shots.

Don, I reckon you will be pleasantly surprised one day how easy the new ones are to use... I shoot Nikon, cause I grew up in Nikon house... the Old man had a F and a Nikkormat when I was very young.. I've Got an F90X that I keep promising myself I will buy some film and play with..... I will one day.... Mean time the digital bodies are getting a good workout.

Trout, the 3200 is nice and lightweight and I've seen some ripper images from them. I'm sure you'll have some fun with it out bush.... and don't leave that Tamron behind either, your macro skills will be perfect for close up small stuff out there and the 90mm makes a pretty decent portrait lens I'm told!
