LOL! ... sorry did you already buy?
So as an FYI, even tho it's not pertinent to your situation. you can use the (later) type ENEL3e( D300 and some other cameras I think) battery on the earlier models(D70 D200, etc). They have a third tab which is for monitoring battery health.
D70(and D200, D100, etc) cameras don't have the accompanying pin to read those tabs.
But the cameras that use the later 3 tab battery do! .. so you can't use the earlier battery(ENEL-3 that is) on the later cameras .. the earlier battery, has a thin hollowed out section close to the centre of the battery next to the -ve terminal(-ve on the inside, +ve on the edge). The later battery type has a wider cut hollow part, which lines up with the older type battery, but doesn't allow the older battery into the newer camera.
Technically, you could mod the battery and cut the locating slot wider, but you wouldnt' do that coz if you fitted the older battery into the new camera you'd risk damaging the important battery health tab in the camera.
But doesn't matter too much which battery you got in the end, just that the 'e' version of the battery can have higher capacity (they are in effect the same batteries internally).
I tried and I tried, but couldn't ever find suitable cells to replace, but more importantly opening the battery case was terminal. I tried a couple of solvents(brake cleaner and thinners) to try to open the case without damage. But no luck. I did open one of the D70 batteries up(IIRC the Nikon one) years ago and found some weird cell size and couldn't find cells to suit. Battery was totally dead, so wasn't wasted.
I also found that for the D70s and D300, the generic batteries in some instances were better(more shots per charge).
Initially for the D800, I found same result, but then over time that changed and Nikon genuine seemed to hold charge better. But the D800 result could have been me not keeping batteries topped up too.
Did you get a card? (once again... huge apology) but I have a card that is surplus to requirements if you need one.
I have tried a few adapter over time, but so long ago now, I can't remember what and what. CF to SD, I can't remember. I know I have a couple of CF adapters of some type.
Can't say for sure, but if you found one, I think it'd work.
On my D800, which have CF and SD, I use a micro SD. I had SD cards, but (back then) they were too small to be useful, but I had lots of 32 to 128Gb micros from phones and stuff .. so why waste? So I used SD to Micro adapter in the D800 and used one of my 32G micros, no problemo there.
Don't forget to set the date-time once you get it running again.
