on my 13th attempt. with a sony alpha 100 - 75-300 kit lens (set at 300). on auto apart from spot metered on the moon, to shorten the exposure and stop it over exposing. Small amount of cloud in the way to the lower of the pic.

Yesterday members of the LROCV, AWDCV and D2AU forum went to Healesville to lend a hand to a couple of families who have lost everything in the bushfires.

A house once stood right here. We sorted and stacked the rubble out of the way allowing the owners an area to begin again.

Thank you for the post mate. There is a lot of timber/fuel left there. i know now why the fire brigade people are worried about!
It is so sad to see the country and the homes of the people go in that way :(
The old saying "The silence was deafening" rang true there. I sat and listened for a spell and heard only the strange crackling noise the leaves made, not the usual rustle.
