Thread: Pictures ! Anything goes, it is the camera corner after all !!

Having recently upgraded from PSE7 to CS5 I'm at the bottom of a long learning curve. Here's some attempts at reprocessing some pics taken on GCLRO's recent Fraser Is trip.

500D + (mostly) Sigma 10-20mm. Colour adjustments, lens compensation, overall and targeted exposure, (CS5) ND filter, sharpening and cropping.






Overcooked this one trying to lighten the shadows on the rocks.


I am happy with this one. Being able to use CS5's ND filter really helped. I've used the lens correction filter to straighten the image, taken with a Canon 18-200 kit lens @ 18mm.

WhiteD3, the horizon is curving upward in the middle a little. I viewed it on photo studio with a grid overlaid. Takes a correction of about 8% for barrel distortion.

It's a wet weekend here is Brissy and bereft of inspiration for the current photo comp on DoF I went out to a local park and hid in the picnic shelter.
