    Thumbs up Just placed my order

    Yes thats right I just placed my order for my nikon 70-200

    and i'm secretly very excited............

    now my bank accounts is offically empty

    But its a good feeling to buy something that i would deem very expensive, that i have saved for from scratch..........It better be a friggin good lens thats all I can say

    Hi Dullbird
    Cant you just buy adaptor rings so filters are interchangeable, would only work if fitting a larger filter to a smaller lens fitting. Had a heap laying around for my old cmaeras and lens

    The lens takes 77mm filters so you can use step down rings to other lenses but most Nikkor Pro lenses are 77mm.

    if i had thought about it when i first started buying lenses i probably would of gone this route....but i didn't in my inexperience realise these things were available

    so every lens i have has its on UV and CIR/POL.

    this is the biggest filter i have ever brought 77.
    i thought 67 was big lol
    i'm hoping any lenses i buy from now on will come from the nikon range and will all pretty much (well at least i'm hoping) share filters

    Just buy 77m filters. The only issue with using them with step down rings is when you stick them on ultra wide (e.g. the 18mm end of an 18-200).
