Well, once motivated I set my alarm and off to the beach a bit before 0600. Always heaps of parking and the beach to yourself, especially in chilly June. Except this time...... Street was packed! Heck, must be good surf I thought. Nup, part way down the cliff to my favorite quiet beach I spotted a heap of tiny bobbing lights all clustered about the prime positions on the rocks. Photographers, a swarm of them
Turned out it was a workshop for taking seascape photos. Anyway managed to get some elbow room and had a chat with a few of them.
Temperature about 10 deg, light winds, tide most of the way in and rising and sizable swell making life interesting. This beach can change from week to week and this time most of the sand had been washed away leaving many of the rocks exposed.
Here's a couple of the shots-

Very nice captures David!
I guess that was good to get up early in the morning to get the nice light :)
I like the exposure that you have selected and the FG.
There is not a single rock in my beach :( so I just only can play with reflections and tides.
David, that second shot are using CS5 HDR and filters or a plugin?
