third and forth pics are the nicest grumpy thanks for sharing
Very nice shots grumpy.
The third image would improve heaps if you crop it at the bottom to make a pano composition. There is to much black at the bottom.
All in all very nice images
Thank you NM for posting so nice images . My favs are the second for the soft light and composition and the third because the sky and the silhuette.
I would crop the bottom on the third to convert it to a pano. Give it a try and see what is your opinion.
Cheers
D80 with a kit lens 18-135 didn't bother with manual settings just played with the exposure compensator.

I find Sunrises the hardest pictures to take due to having to get up so early in the day.
Allen
Also sunrises are very hard because "the window of light" is much shorter than the one in the sunsets.
I do not use filters so genarally I have about 3 minutes of time to take all the shots before the sun can "burn" a hole in the image.
A few of my sunset shots from various parts of WA....

Looking over the trees from the 4th green at about 8pm one night using the bird scarer to try and move the Corellas on.

Also from the 4th green, with me in the foreground getting the gas gun going in the back of one of our Toro Workman 2110's.
By the way, sorry for the crap quality, these were taken with my new phone which has a worse camera than the last but we have just bought a new Canon power shot A 480 so for quick snap shots the res should be getting better :)
