Congrats Steve. What did you use as the light source to trace around the bus?
I have a mini apple promotional torch from when they launched searchlight. It has an exposed bulb and is generally useless. Unless you want an exposed bulb that is...
You can also use a mini-maglight with the reflector unscrewed.
If you want recreate this I recommend multiple exposures. It will keep the noise down as each one can be shorter and you don't have to reshoot with an error. So I would do one exposure for the roof. One for the front, one for the side, etc. This will also allow you to vary the expose in PS. As editing was not allowed I had to control the speed of movement to get the brightness right for the light. The angle of the torch on the side was different from the roof, so much less light reached the camera. I moved quickly for the roof, medium fast for the front and slowly for the sides.
It was shot on a black table at night with all the lights off.
Cheers, Steve
