I dunno. The blue one leads your eyes down the river with the help of the red one, not the other way around.

Yeah. That's why I posted something 'different' . There are just too many great entries this time around.

Sorry DB. I just can't let that one get through.
Those big coloured plastic things are canoes.

    This is a kayak.

That mistake is about as bad as calling a Land Rover a Jeep.

I am stunned at the quality of the entries. It has been great looking at them all.

It will be very hard to pick a winner!

no the red one doesn't lead you down the river.......but i did say powerful image it doesn't have to lead you down the river to be poweful..well I don't think so anyway.....the fact that the red stands out so much with the cool blue/green tint of the landscape behind gives more of a significant message I think, especially with the river trailing off behind. the blue one and the red one combined do direct your eye up the river its just a shame the blue CANOE is cut of at the edge of the frame

the image doesn't make me think oh I would like to go there....it makes me thing I wonder where they have been The more I look at it the more I love it well done john its a fantasic shot I think
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

Not entirely sure how Stirlsilver's shot meets the requirement of wanting to be where the photo was taken as I did actually fly to The Rockies this week to take my shot (I stayed in the hotel where The Shining was written). Must be a glutton for punishment. Or want the miles...

    Cheers, Steve
