    Anglesea, Vic

    ..is a small town on the Victorian surf coast, where the in-laws have a beach house. w00t!

    Here's some pics I'd like to share from this weekend.

    Here's another pic from the same trip, only from Queenscliff.



    1. Set camera to widest focal length.
    2. Run at seagulls sitting at waters edge.
    3. Start shooting.

    I now have a vague idea of how the paparazzi feel. :-)

    Heh. Looks like I didn't have it at it's widest after all. It's a 16-35mm zoom but the exif says it's at 26mm. Shutter speed was 1/800 which was a compromise to keep some of the depth of field with an aperture of f8-ish.

    the sculptures - not there the last time I was there 10 or so years ago.... are they beside the river?

    That's correct. They've done a lot of work sprucing it up a bit. The little jetty across the road from the general store has been rebuild and there's a boardwalk to it from each direction. They've also sealed the nearby carpark as well as the one down by the beach. The shops have changed a bit too.
