Good Sign! but Where's the crocs! I thought you guys have crocs like we have stray cats! - And why are there Crcodiles in the East Alligator River.... shouldn't there be alligators?
Sorry if I'm bending the rules here a little, but I wanted to tell a story... Taken within a couple of hours some time ago.
What & Why

Good Sign! but Where's the crocs! I thought you guys have crocs like we have stray cats! - And why are there Crcodiles in the East Alligator River.... shouldn't there be alligators?
Sorry no pics of the crocs, even though the place is full of them. Don't see them much when the river is flooding. But I bet the bloke that drove the truck into the river had a hairy escape. I'm aware of at least one guy who was taken (in front of his young son) by a croc at this very place (Cahill's Crossing in Kakadu).
In those days when they named things in Australia (i.e. late 18th/early 19th century) there was a (incorrect obviously) believe that the crocs in Australia were alligators. But the names stuck.
Fire and ice..
Taken June 2007, across from the start of Zeka Spur track.
Fairly simple instructions...

Bushie, what Sigma lens is that?
The 70mm f/20 has given a nice star pattern.

Should be nice, I've got it's bigger brother the 150 f/2.8 Macro and it's very good. 9 blade lens and stopped down hence the nice starring. I haven't used mine in that situation as a 150mm prime isn't as useful as it is for its macro ability.
