My first real attempt at a Pano

    Hello

I went to the Illarrawa Fly today what a wonderful place to visit.

So because of the views I thought I would have a go at a Pano...the day unfortunately was extremely hazy so you will have to forgive that part of it...and also I was hand holding the camera and the bridges were wobbling but it didn't come out to bad I don't think...would of been nicer if the day was clear and the sun wasn't directly above me...12:30pm

Nice, not to sure about the vignetting.

Only criticism is that it's crooked!

Like you say, can't help the haze, which is annoying and ruins too many shots (like yours) turning something great into something ordinary. Are you going to revisit this spot? Be a beautiful shot on a clear day.

What did you use to stitch the shots with?

yes First thing I noticed when i uploaded it was that it was crooked....need to fix it but took so long to upload last night that I couldn't be arsed to do it again......

the vignetting was only slight on the computer when doing it..for some rason it looks way darker and more round then when I was editing....so I need to fix this also..

used the stich progam in the reccomended programs in the sticky thread above. and I hardly cropped anything off at all NM tiny fraction of top and bottom due to the curve the picture took when stiched together.

to be honest NM I would use the same program again its brilliant...just select your pictures hit open and it does the lot for you....no need to do anything else

The vignetting probably darkened with the save to JPEG and the lower resolution. Personally I don't think the picture needs it, but if it works for you then that's who am I to complain.

How many shots did you take for this one?

So here is another Pano from the blue mountains.......(15 shots)

I tried a couple but positioning wasn't great as by the time I moved around the sun was blowing the last part out...yes I know I have a dark spot in the middle I forgot to take my CP off on a couple of them couldn't remember which ones I guess this was one of them

Lovely shot Lou. Might enhance it if you bring the saturation of the sky up a little.

how can I do that derek?

do I have to put it in PS select the sky and then play with saturation?

perhaps I should try in lightroom I had to put it on light room with the gradient filter to bring the exposure down on the sky I'm not sure I can do it again with Sat.....with out messing up the exposure
