How To Use Cast Iron Cookware

I think that the info in THIS site about season, care and using cast-iron pans is excellent.

We have used this technique in our cast iron pots and plates and I can telling you that now the pots are better that any other kind on pot in our home kitchen.
Sr. Pedro, I would put this link on the "Good Oil" if I was you

    Cheers

That's not a bad site Chucaro.

I've been using this one which is also quite good.

CAMP OVEN COOKING IN AUSTRALIA (COCIA®) - Camp Oven Cooking

My young bloke is currently working on a mine site not far from here on night shift, and when they get a quiet night (like last night), he has my nets in his ute and heads over to a nearby old open pit mine which has flooded with rainwater / runoff to catch a feed. He bought home an eski full this morning and I've been busy this afternoon.

There's a roast chook & vegies in the same oven at the moment, now that I've polished off a good feed of yabbies.

I've also got a book by Jack and Reg Absalom - "Outback Cooking in the Camp Oven". A great book for this type of cooking if you can get your hands on a copy.
    Cheers .........
