1. Must be cheap - less than $500 - less than $300 is better
2. To suit two people and gear
3. Must be able to stand up in it
4. Must be quick to erect
5. No centre pole
6. Awning over the entrance
7. Must come with a fly
Recommendations with pics and or links greatfully accepted.
Thanks

Whilst I have an Oztent RV5, and love it, I reckon your criteria point you towards a good quality dome tent.
"Quick to erect" and "must have a fly" are conflicting requirements IMHO.
The single pole touring tents could cover most of what you want if you use the side pole kits that a lot of them come with, but won't have a fly. You can get a separate attachable awning.
I bought one from Anaconda about 2 years ago for about $200, came with a free side pole kit that I've never bothered using 'cos one pole is at least twice as fast as twobut then I don't have an aversion to a center pole.
Only failing is that it isn't too good in heavy rain as the panels between the window zips and the mesh are nylon, and the rain leaks through the zips and nylon into the tent.
An awning would be nice, but so far I've just strung a tarp up over the Disco when I've needed some extra dry space.

Any dome tent I've used that you can stand up in definitely fails the "quick to erect" criteria - although they DO pass the "quick destruction" test if you get a decent breeze.
If you get something with a separate fly, keep in mind that if its hosing down when you put the tent up, it will likely be full of water that's entered the non waterproof inner tent before you got the fly on. Been there - done that

Thanks - Yes Oz tents are just too dear. When I talk about a fly it doesn't have to be intergral with the tent - just suitable for use with the tent not a generic piece of ripstop.

I've been looking at oztrail and black wolf 4 man dome tents for me and the missus. The ones priced around $160 are the ones I'm leaning towards. eBay has a few good deals on these tents which includes delivery.
When I get home I'll post up the models that I've found. The 4 man tents have just enough room to stand where the three man tents are a bit small.
$160, good value for a couple of trips but just don't expect it to last. If you plan on doing a bit more tent touring my be a good idea to look out for a second hand oz tent.
Sorry - forgot to mention - will normally use a yet to be acquired camper or sleep in the back of the 101. This is for trips where it is not OK to tow in the RRS or in the 101 when she is loaded up so cannot sleep inside - so for occasional use only (hence at the lower price range).

I'm sure those Black Wolf tents are a lot cheaper than than last time I looked. A mate at work bought a larger double-dome one recently and is pretty impressed with quality and how easy it was to put up etc (but was large and around $900). Pretty sure he bought it from Tentworld.
The FS210 on ebay for $399 might be a good contender. Dearer than a traditional fibreglass pole dome tent but much quicker to put up and more usable internal volume as the sides are more vertical.
