Dont know about the internal dimensions, But I have 2 of them a large one for weekends away and a small one for my lunch every day. They both work really well Happy considering the price.
Hi Everyone, I am contemplating upgrading my esky to a Techni ice 40L or 60L but the advertised sizes don't agree with my calculations using the web site internal dimensions.According to me the 40L only has a capacity of 33.8L and the 60L has 55L.The 80L comes in at 69L. Does anyone own one of these sizes and can confirm the actual capacities? My current Willow 26 measures out at 26L but the insulation is not good enough in warm weather to hold ice for a weekend. Thanks in advance.130man.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your reply. The price is certainly attractive and the product looks good.I want to go up a size on my current esky but the Techni ice 40L is only 7 actual litres bigger when the size rating implies 14 litres.Something is not right.I went to my nearest BCF outlet yesterday and looked at eskies there. They had a 55L Waeco cool ice for $200 whereas the TI 60L is $129 plus $15 freight and is effectively the same capacity.I need to decide soon as my next camping trip is only a fortnight away.Cheers, 130man.
130man,
also check out 'unrealcoolers' online. Im stoked with out 50L and 200L

I've had two of these techniice eskies for about 18 months now and can report that their "number of days that it will keep your stuff cool/cold/frozen for" ratings are a little on the optimistic side.
I would also comment though that I use these eskies in (coastal southern) Queensland with their own "ice" packs. During summer the ambient temps that the eskies are being used in range from low 20s to low 30s. I always try to fill them with as much frozen stuff as possible, eg. frozen bread, meat, etc.
The other thing is that their ice packs are prone to developing leaks which usually results in a sticky, slimy substance being imparted onto the contents of your esky.
On the whole though for the price I paid I reckon they are very good value. FWIW their customer service was quite good too.
Hi Roverrescue, thanks for the tip about Unreal coolers.Obviously an associated company to Techni Ice but with a broader range of sizes and lower prices.
Hi Bell 1975, glad to get extra feedback about performances of the eskies.Thank you.Cheers, 130man.
Hi,
I brought the 80L techni ice off e bay for $118 + $15 delivery, I recon you cant go wrong as long as you get 1 off e bay, looked at there store o line and was more than double for the same thing from the same supplier.
used 1 weekend so far and was very happy, much better than an esky, only problem is the 80L is heavy when full
Hi DBK, thanks for your reply. I have settled on a Techni ice 60L in white but am having trouble selecting white on the order form. They insist on selecting another colour as a second choice but I don't want any other colour. I have e-mailed them and await a reply.Cheers, 130man.
